For the premiere of the UK rom-com What’s love got to do with it? Lily James wore a sheer nude dress by Miu Miu embroidered with tiny glittering flowers. Underneath you could see the bones of the corset body, which once again emphasized the waist. But the detail that caught our eye (besides the eye-catching tone) was the visible bra, which ended at the back a good bit above the end of the dress. This component certainly wasn’t chosen at random, as both the underwear flash and the corset boning were perfectly matched to the hue of Jimmy Choo’s white mega heels – pretty awesome. The naked dress look was rounded off with silver-colored earrings by Nour by Jahan, which skilfully picked up the shimmering theme of the dress.

What do we love about the look? The genius of the composition. Because every detail is deliberately selected and thus manages to make the look, but above all the color, look absolutely elegant. Let’s be honest: Green might not have been our first color choice, but Lily James convinces us otherwise! Another twist that we definitely want to highlight is the transparency play. This is not only used here to create a bare effect, but also to expose something in a targeted manner. Thus (the mostly unwanted underwear flash) becomes part of the staging and gets another layer with the visible bra, which gives the look more depth.
