Wearing a floral dress + sandals + minimalist clutch

No wedding without flowers. I think flowers belong at every wedding, whether as table decorations, a bouquet or as a pattern on the wedding guest outfit. That’s why I chose a fitted midi dress with a large floral pattern – which I actually wore to a wedding several years ago (which is why it’s unfortunately no longer available). And I think it’s still totally appropriate! Floral dresses often have airy cuts, which also look great. What I particularly like about this dress, however, is that it’s not the typical flower dress, but has a figure-hugging cut. Because black heels and a black baguette bag are always a good idea, and because they go well with the basic color of the dress, these two pieces are the choice of accessories. Gold jewelry goes perfectly with the gold details of the bag and the overall look. When it gets colder in the evening? Then I throw on my black oversized blazer, which I already have hanging in the closet anyway.

Wearing a slip dress + transparent shirt + block heel shoes

Since I’ve been invited to a wedding this spring, the question of a suitable wedding guest outfit is a topic that’s currently on my mind. Above all, the question of the weather: Because if it’s not midsummer yet, the look has to be well thought out in order not to freeze in the worst case (if the celebrations are taking place outside). Since I actually have enough dresses or fancier pieces in my closet, the challenge is not to buy anything new, but to put something together from existing clothes. Not that easy, because somehow you want to wear something special and not the dress that has accompanied you through the summer for several years. And then of course it has to be practical in some way, because what could be worse than uncomfortable shoes or having to constantly adjust them. After a long period of brainstorming and searching for inspiration on social media, my look is set. Starting with the shoes, which are comfortable with block heels and make you feel good thanks to the color, I build the rest of my look on that. It consists of a vintage dress with a butterfly pattern. I found the slip dress, which is actually a nightgown, in my grandmother’s closet a few years ago and have been wearing it with a t-shirt and trousers ever since. Underneath I styled a matching, transparent top that I got from a clothes swap with a friend. So I feel a bit more dressed up and am perfectly equipped for medium-warm spring weather. If in doubt, I can take it off and replace it with a blazer or another jacket, for example. When it comes to accessories, I grab a fluffy pink bag (always goes), glittery earrings and my favorite Evasimin Healing Stone necklace, which goes really well with the entire color palette. Et voilà – the wedding season can come!
